Dear dumindak,
Don't be so sure. No one should underestimate India. In politics there are no 'Permanent Friends or Foes; there are only permanent interests'.
Perhaps they may want an 'Indian Administered Sri Lanka' in the NEast. Watch your steps and wht do you say.

Strange!
Earlier, gaja, tigeress and other LTTE followers were asking what India has done to help the poor people in North East, so that they earn to get involved in SL conflict.
Now that India helps a hospital in Killinochi, they are panicking and accusing being foxy. With this constituency, it is always a no-win situation for India.
Guys, please consistant in the the thought process.
India is helping the hospital in NE because of the moral urge to help people who are caught between evil and sea.

The slums in India will helped, if India just keeps up its present GDP growth for the next 10 years. There is no need for the hand outs like the one in Killinochi, where the economy is stagnating under a ruthless psychopath dictator and his clueless followers. |

One doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to understand India.
It is consistant in wanting to support democracy and pluralism in India and in its neighburhood. It links the strength of those two principles to its own survival in domestic and international stages.
India's position in SL is dictated by the above strategic objective.
It is in India's vital interest to have a plural, democratic and prosperous SL in its neighbourhood |

Even with my great respect for India & its people, I could never understand India's International strategy unless you are part of it. Believe me I have dealt with your bureaucrats on many occasions. I could not still understand why you all assisted Somawansa Amarasinghe to escape from Sri Lanka.
Tell me why India unexpectedly supported USA on Iran's nuclear issue even after you having nuclear weapons.
To establish a plural, democratic & prosperous Sri Lanka, we have to be alive first. Whether you believe it or not, we are fighting for survival. For someone in the middle of the deep blue sea alone, anything that would help him to float is acceptable

Prime minister VP singh spoke with SL president to get a exit for Somawanse Amaresinghe for multiple reasons.
1. India didn't entirely agree with the way JVP was crushed by SL military.
2. The need for a future balancing political equation in SL, in which the absence of JVP and its ideology will strengthen LTTE. (for the inner side of Indian establishment, LTTE and Prabhakaran have not even a shred of credibility. They are completely convinced that LTTE is not genuinly interested in anything less than exclusive eelam, which is not acceptable to India in its immediate neighbourhood)
3. JVP leader was a personal friend of prime minister. The decision making process to interfere must have been easier by this personal factor.
The problem in SL has become very tough with MR victory. It was a telling evidence that at the end, all extremists including JVP, JHU and LTTE wanted MR to be elected.
Now we need to bring accountability to for the consequences.

India loves to annex lanka so much as one of their state or at least want to renegotiate with sinhala leaders to obey what they (Indians)say.
they created and supported ltte is not because the Indians loves us the srilankan Tamils.
they still will and love to send a missile all the way to kilinochchi to archive their goal.but do you know maninder, where the missiles you send will be shot down to the ground.?
do you know what will be the out come of your governments agreement with the lanka government?
this is where the sinhalees will use the saying'ENEMY's ENEMY IS MY FRIEND'
HOWEVER power full you are, making an enemy in your own house or back yard will always will backfire.

The missile that India will fire, if it intends to, will cruise at an altitude of between 30-50 mter from the ground, which will not be detected by any radar other than the airborne ones or satelites. All LTTE got is czech made gliders.
These missiles, known as cruise missiles, cannot be shot down by anti-aircraft battery, because you don't know it is coming.
Prabhakaran wouldn't know what has actually happened when he will be sitting in yamalokam ! :))))
I will inform you of the timings of the firing in this forum, so you can avoid travelling to SL during the period. Since it is a Indian made one, I am not sure how accurate the goddam missile is! :)))
