Nice to see you back. This guy Maaveerar is making things easy for us. He is collating news articles from Lanka Academic, Tissaranee Gunasekera and other critical sources.
He must be wanting to make a presentation to UN now that Dhanapala has resigned. Nothing from own thoughts.

LTTE was AIDED by India, at a stage of tamil struggle in SL, where Indian policy planners thought it was necessary to convince the singalese extremists thorugh physical force that the principle of equal opportunities and dignity cannot be stopped with muscle power or violance. India would have helped a singalese militant movement, if tamil were majority in SL and they were crushing minority rights and dignity.

Unquote: India will not accept a division of SL under any circumstances. Neither will UN or International community. Especially under Prabhakaran's dictatorship.
A UDI by Prabhakaran without a democratic process will give legitimacy to military operation by GoSL with overt help of international community.
What should be the alternative to UDI?
I think Pabhakaran should work to bring credibility to LTTE with introducing democracy in its ranks, abiding by international conventions as a armed unit and bringing transparency in policy planning and its executions. He should set deadlines after this.
Right now, all the stake holders are deeply suspicious about Prabhakaran's motives, to say the least. |

What type of hallucinatory drugs are you addicted to? Only a person in a deranged state of mind can behave in the above fashion.

| It is a kind gesture by India but hope only the civilians in Kilinochchi will be benefitted. Who knows, those medicines may end up in the LTTE bunkers for 'future use'. |

Sorry for the late response, welcome again! I love your posts because you never forget to give us some thahtuwa mutthukal in the form of those old songs.
I gave Oldpulii some advice, after all he needs our help to get rid of his addiction to those hallucinatory drugs. Most of the members in this forum make use of him as an entertainer without helping him with his problems.
Hope you will continue with us.
I am a bit busy these days, getting ready to travel during the holiday season, this time I will be heading towards Sri Lanka.

nonsense. India helped because it wanted to contain lanka so that Pak/US wouldnt come as setup shop there. Remember VOA.
India never had genuine good intentions in helping the tamils, it was a byproduct. Indira Gandhi maybe but not anyone else afterwards. look at the 1987 peace accord and what India got out of it. its called a Inddo-lanka accord not a tamil-sinhala accord. |
