When did Praba terrorise the WORLD? When did Sri Lanka's South become the World?
We need to start with facts if we are to have an administrative solution. Otherwise it will continue to be political and through guns. That is the culture of both sides. I suggest that we stick to Public Administration as much as we can.

The fact that even the Australians finally started treating LTTE and financiers as terrorists is the most striking indicator of the losing war that LTTE fights with unrealistic hidden objectives and immoral methods.
Prabhakaran's recent armed interfering in a democratic election to ensure the election of a hardline prsident was there for everyone to watch on TV.
Circle is closing slowly but surely.

Please note that the Australian Police had to resort to new SUBJECTIVE laws to raid and possibly arrest. That is in breach of the Race Discrimination Act. According to one report, they have charged some under the UN Resolution. But Australians are themselves working with the Tigers in Sri Lanka. In other words, it is alright for them to interact with the Tigers but not for others they do not like, to support the Tigers.
When I complained against the Police on the basis of Race based Discrimination, the authorities asked for gross level proof. I have even given it to them. But THEY did not require any such proof to raid and arrest these victims.
You are condoning breaches of the Race Discrimination Laws and UN Treaties on Equal Opportunity.

To be brutally honest, laws need to be subjective, when you deal the people who respect no laws, but operate based on the claim of 'value of the sacrifice'.
Prabhakaran and his followers think about race discrimination and UN treaties, when it suits them.
Why didn't you mention about the UN treaties, when LTTE was forcibly recruiting children into combat operations?
By stopping the terror financing from Australia, the authorities are actually enforcing UN treaties.

The Tamil Talaban (LTTE ) should be banned worldwide. Prabaharan and his family should be destroyed wherever they are from the face of this earth. The Sinhala Government should learn lessons from the past.

| Look at the present and the future.Maybe you can pray for the destruction the LTTE and but it aint happenning. It has pretty much become a grass roots org. Thank fully VP and the founders of LTTE had the foresight a couple of decades ago. I remember reading a comment by VP to Kittu when India was training the LTTE tellign him to keep a distance as one day we might have to fight them as India was only traing them for their own foreign policy agenda. This was in 1984. Innocent people killing force (IPKF) came to jaffan in 1987. foresight is what is lacking in the southern polity. |

That oldpuli episode was a nice but in my point of view a clever gesture by Jeyakumar onbehalf of the Tigers.
This incident will clearly show that J's interest is to invest in people & in their welfare.
Peace & development, will be distictly be possible if the Tiger organisation will elect Mr. J to their chair.
Oldpuli will will be the first to lend support.
Then, why not the Tamil people push for this change in the interest of their community, peace & Sri Lanka. |
