SLFP / PA / UPFA gala time is OVER.
Tomorrow, UNP is going to appoint Karu as its leader and Rukman as the deputy leader. Now is is rejuvenate time for the UNP. Previously alienated UNPers will re-join the party. Good for the country and bad for Mr Ranilchelvam!!
This a very good signal for the peace mongers and internationalists like GLP.
Cheers and have fun |

| The reason LTTE left Ranil was that Ranil refused a request by LTTE to move the High Security Zones in the North and East if he came to power.Thats why LTTE's decision (whether to support Ranil)was swinging both ways untill the last moment.Because it was very clear that without those votes from the North and East Ranil could never win.And also LTTE made sure that Jaffna Tamils living in Colombo also didnt vote. |

Most unfortunate and the dirtiest person in politics
He says one thing and does something else
He is also a liar. His kind if politics can be practice only in Sri Lanka. In other developed worlds lies are not entertained
He was also implicated in torture and murder in Batalanda
Yet he was allowed to contest at election Presidential
As I said this is possible only in Sri Lanka |

| The polls were free of violence was because SB was not free. Another factor is Anurdha Ratwatte;s absence. These two were the culprits and this election proved it beyond any doubt. |

Mr.Wijesinghe,
You are as gullible as anyone in our country. That torture show they showed on Rupavahini, do you know what that really is? Rupavahinin showed marks on the walls like it was blood claiming that Ranil had tortured people, it was proved by an expert of their own governement that those were mere mud marks! Dont beleive everything you see on TV Mr.Wijesinghe, especially state media!! |

Dear Reappear,
Let me give you what I understand from an International point. In a federal system there is only the Police that is acceptable within a state jurisdiction. The Military is the federal responsibility.
If GOSL is sincerely approaching a plan towards establishing a federal system then I believe all these matters will be addressed. We must not forget that neither GOSL nor LTTE/TNA are able to finalise the legality, understanding, documentation and Authentication of this system without an International Mediator. As a whole, SL is a Novice to this kind of governance.
Coming to the intricacy of your question about if LTTE will settle and will be comfortable with the Federal system.
Yes,they will have to conform to the trust placed on them under the auspices of International facilitation. Tamils and the Tamil Diaspora would reject any further revolt and LTTE would lose any support in Solidarity.
As many Tamils have agreed that LTTE was only a means to bringing an end to the discrimination and obstruction to resources by the GOSL.
Tamils' grievances are Genuine. Thereby the Tamil people are seeking a Genuine solution and not a Petty solution for the moment. CFA was a Petty solution to which there was no regard afforded by the majority. How would Tamils believe that a Greater solution would be conceived in the Majority's mind?????
