| Even though I think that Anura should not be given prime ministerial post, I think Mahinda should give him the post to show that he is a man who keeps to his words. I can't believe the Sri Lankan people voted for Mahinda. I curse Sri Lanka. I hope Mahinda ruins Sri Lanka and then the idiots will realise that they had rejected a great leader, Ranil. Sri Lankans deserve to go through hardships. Even though Mahinda won, he is still a goat |

I am responding only because of your comments. Don't you remember 'kola koti' in vehicles without number plates? Dont you remember human heads on fences? I guess both sides committed attrocities. I am not an active member of either team. Did not and will not be a part of any attrocity. Did not and will not support any such thing in my life.
Having said that, you also asked me what my qualifications were and how much I am planning to earn. Have a PhD and strong desire to serve my motherland. Will not dwell on the past. Will work for future. Don't need a penny because ruppees will not do any good to me. Passion is to promote export oriented industries and employment to rural youth. I am a capitalist inside out. Anyway, no plans to respond to anymore of your ramblings. Let's try to help the motherland in anyway we can. I don't care if Prabhakaran becomes the PM if they laydown arms.

I am thrilled to bits that anura is not the PM. He should not even be an MP!
Bandas thought they can rule for ever. I have no problem with anybody ruling forever. Just that bandas have a knack for ruinging things.
So who is the PM?
Mr. Fernandopulle is a good candidate! The other likely candidates of PM material are Mr. Fowzie, John Senevirathne.

Now Srilanka has a new President and all the parties should work together on the national ethnic problem.
this is not the problme of Mr.Mahinda, the new president or defeated candidate Mr.ranil wickremasinghe but this is a national problem and this time, I hope sincerely ,that all sinhalelse politicinas should come forwrd to sort out this problem to save this small Island from further destruction.
This is not the moment to take revenge on each other or destroy but this is the moment for everybody to get together to solve this problem peacefully.
If the President Mr.Mahinda Rajapaksh intends to meet the leader of LTTE Mr.Prabhakaran , by naming a tamil for the post of Prime Minister, at least for a short period , ,there is no doubt at all, that he will be certainly on the right path to bring back sri Lanka to the past glorious period with peace to enable every citizen to live peacefully.
There is no reason why we can't rebuild this scatterd Island by solving this thornful problem which destroy the economic of this country and cause more difficulties to the people.
Every Tamil,Muslim and sinhalese should come forward tgo seize this occasion to show their full efforts in the name of one sri Lanka with the federal systems in the northeast and northwest.

Singhlalse elected government. to serve singhalse.

I can't believe the Sri Lankan people voted for Mahinda and wanted the country to go to hardship for the false promises.
When are you Southern people going to wake up. when the future generation kills each other to survive as the cost of living is going up every day in the future. As a Sinhalese I'm ashamed to say that our nationality is so ignorant and stupid to see what is happening around the country but still vote for mahinda for his boru porondu to make it more and more worse.
I CONGRATULATE THE GENTLEMAN IN POLITICS RANIL EVEN THOUGH YOU WERE DEFEATED WE KNOW YOU WERE DEFEATED BECAUSE THE TAMIL VOTE WAS NOT THERE.BUT STILL IN OUR HEARTS YOU'LL BE THE PRESIDENT. WHICH MEANS IT'S NOT A FAIR ELECTION AT ALL(THOUGH THE COMMISSIONER SAYS IT IS)[BY THE WAY WHY DID THE ELECTION COMMISSIONER PLAN THE ELECTION DAY AS NOVEMBER 17TH? BECAUSE THE NEXT DAY NOVEMBER 18TH IS THE BIRTHDAY OF MAHINDA]. MAYBE IT WAS A PLAN TO GIVE HIM THE PRESIDENCY AS A GIFT BY THE COMMISSIONER.
